We are now hiring part and full-time Shift Leads for the Crumbl Cookies in the Kingstowne Shopping Center in Alexandria, VA. Crumbl Cookies is a gourmet, high-tech cookie bakery. As a Shift Lead, you supervise a crew of bakers as they mix, ball, bake, and serve cookies to customers. It's a fun, fast-paced environment where the recipes change every week. Shift Leads supervise a crew of bakers and earn a shift bonus based on how many shifts they lead each week.

BENEFITS

Total Hourly Compensation $20.5-$24/hr (base pay, tips, and bonus) Base pay of $17-$19/hr. Tips received as additional pay (average rate $1.5 to $2/hr). Weekly Leadership Bonus equivalent to $2/hr Monthly Health Stipend Equivalent to $2/hr bonus (if full time) Free cookie on every shift. No Sunday shifts (the store is not open on Sundays). REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18+ years old to supervise age-restricted machinery as a shift lead. Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic. Previous food service leadership experience required. (Shift Lead equivalent) Must demonstrate leadership aptitude before taking on full responsibilities and receiving the leadership bonus. Willingness to open/close the stores and work nights and weekends (Friday & Saturday). Be able to carry objects around the store, exercise fine motor skills, lift 50 lbs, bend down to lift pans, raise pans above your shoulders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delegate shift tasks to a crew of bakers and lead by example. Supervise batch quality. Supervise customer service. Troubleshoot delivery issues with third-party vendors. Supervise daily or nightly cleaning. Provide on the spot corrections to crew members. Meet weekly store metrics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Can you lift 50 lbs? Can you reach above your shoulders to grasp a weighted cookie sheet and bend down to your knees and place a weighted cookie sheet on a rack? Can you walk around the store using both hands to hold ingredients and cookie sheets? Can you memorize orders? Can you exercise fine motor skills to make, dress, and box cookies? What is your age? (You must be 18 or older for this job to supervise age restricted equipment) Do you have reliable transportation to work? (ie can get to work or get home from work for very early or very late shifts?) Can you commit to frequently working on Fridays and Saturdays? (Friday and Saturdays are our busiest day of the week.
