Job Description
Overview We are seeking dynamic and motivated Supervisors to lead our team at our Bojangles/Smoothie King location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing staff, controlling inventory, and fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses strong leadership skills to drive success in a fast-paced food service setting. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptly. Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding new team members, and ongoing staff training initiatives. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize profitability. Foster a welcoming environment that enhances customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. Support catering events or special functions as needed to promote brand presence. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams or supervising staff. Ability to handle inventory control processes efficiently while maintaining product quality. Effective communication skills for training staff and engaging with customers. Basic math skills for cash reconciliation, order accuracy, and financial analysis. Experience in managing restaurant operations including shift management, budgeting, and cost control. Knowledge of food industry regulations related to health codes and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through training & development initiatives while fostering a positive work environment.
