Duties Supervise and coordinate daily pet care activities, including feeding, exercise, and enrichment Lead a team of pet care associates, providing training and support in dog training, handling, and restraint techniques Ensure all animals are handled safely and humanely, adhering to established protocols for animal restraint and behavior management Oversee pet sitting services, ensuring pets' needs are met with compassion and professionalism Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility Assist with veterinary-related tasks when necessary, such as administering medications or monitoring health conditions Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' well-being and care routines Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or pet sitting; veterinary technician or assistant experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and animal restraint procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with animals Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude towards pets and clients Prior kennel experience or veterinary experience is preferred to ensure safe and effective animal care Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and clear direction Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication to animals makes a difference every day!
