School Nutrition Specialist - K12 Apply Now Search all jobs Job Description  Support nutrition programming in a K-12 food service environment, including Primero Edge responsibilities, classroom nutrition education, and leadership of a school hydroponics program.   Prior school nutrition, food service, nutrition education, or related experience preferred. Dietitian credentials are not required, but candidates should be comfortable supporting USDA-aligned nutrition programs.  About the job Join a leadership role overseeing multi-functional food service operations with a focus on client satisfaction, retention, and operational performance. This position supports revenue and profit goals through disciplined execution of programs, safety standards, and daily operational oversight while fostering an engaged and well-supported team. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
Pay Range:

Experience using automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards. Experience supporting quality, patient satisfaction, and service delivery across operations. Proven success coaching teams, providing feedback, and supporting compliance and engagement.
