Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You As our Director of Food & Beverage, you'll lead the strategy, performance, and people behind one of the hotel's most dynamic operations—spanning our restaurant and bar, banquet and catering operations, culinary team, and the food and beverage experiences that accompany meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events throughout the year. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You'll own the financial and operational performance of Food & Beverage while remaining actively connected to the operation—partnering with your leaders, being present during key service periods and major events, engaging with guests, and stepping in when the business needs you. Working closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Banquets, Sales & Catering, and hotel leadership, you'll create an operation where exceptional service, strong financial performance, thoughtful planning, and a team that takes genuine pride in what they do all work together. As Director of Food & Beverage, you're not simply overseeing outlets and events. You're building a Food & Beverage operation that our guests remember, our clients trust, and our team is proud to be part of. What You'll Do Own the Food & Beverage operation: Provide strategic and operational leadership across outlets, culinary, banquets, catering, and other Food & Beverage functions, ensuring each area performs as part of one cohesive operation.

Lead and develop your leaders:

Direct, coach, and develop the Executive Chef, Director of Banquets, outlet leaders, and other F&B leadership while establishing clear expectations, accountability, recognition, and opportunities for growth.

Own financial performance:

Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts; analyze revenue, labor, food and beverage cost, purchasing, inventory, and other expenses; and take action to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Grow the business:

Identify opportunities to increase outlet, banquet, catering, and beverage revenue through pricing, programming, promotions, menu strategy, service enhancements, and partnerships within the community.

Lead exceptional events:

Partner with Banquets, Culinary, and Sales to ensure conferences, weddings, meetings, and special events are thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed: from the first BEO conversation through the final guest departure.

Be present in the operation:

Maintain visible leadership during key service periods, high-volume events, group programs, and other critical moments. Know what's happening in your operation because you're connected to the people doing the work. Build a team people want to be part of: Drive engagement and retention by listening to the team, recognizing great work, addressing concerns, and cultivating an environment built on respect, fairness, teamwork, and pride.

Protect the guest experience:

Actively monitor guest and event-client feedback, respond to concerns, identify recurring opportunities, and implement meaningful improvements. Create consistency : Establish and maintain standards, SOPs, training programs, service expectations, and accountability systems that allow teams to execute consistently across outlets and events. Partner across the hotel : Work closely with Sales, Catering, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Finance, and hotel leadership to anticipate business needs and deliver seamless experiences.

Ensure safe and responsible operations:

Maintain compliance with Hilton standards and all applicable food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements. Take ownership when things don't go according to plan: Whether it's a staffing challenge, service issue, equipment failure, unexpected volume, or an event that suddenly needs a new plan, respond with urgency, sound judgment, and a willingness to work alongside the team to get it done. For this Executive Committee level role, we are looking for someone who: Has significant Food & Beverage leadership experience, preferably within a large, full-service hotel, resort, conference hotel, or similarly complex operation Has demonstrated experience leading multiple Food & Beverage disciplines, ideally including restaurants, bars, culinary, banquets, and catering Fosters a genuine passion for hospitality and helping others Has integrity, sound judgment, and discretion Demonstrates strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, food and beverage cost, inventory, purchasing, and profitability Understands banquet and catering operations and the unique demands of large meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events Can interpret forecasts, BEOs, occupancy, group business, and outlet demand and translate them into staffing and operational plans Is comfortable holding high standards while creating an environment where people feel respected and supported Is a confident coach who can develop strong leaders and address performance concerns directly and fairly Communicates effectively across departments and can build strong partnerships Is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly Has strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and applicable regulatory requirements Has Hilton brand experience preferred, though strong full-service experience with another major hotel brand will be considered Is able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the hotel and event spaces while supporting daily operations Schedule Requirements Our busiest moments are often evenings, weekends, holidays, and major events, and those are often the moments when leadership matters most. This is a full-time leadership position requiring flexible availability based on the needs of the operation, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Director of Food & Beverage is expected to maintain a visible presence during key service periods, significant events, high-volume business, and other times when their leadership can have the greatest impact.
