Lead Deli Attendant Emerald Queen Casino - 3.2 Fife, WA Job Details $17.91 - $18.50 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Food and beverage product quality management Food quality maintenance Food service health code compliance Processing cash transactions High school diploma or GED Payment processing in food service Quality control experience within food and beverage industry Food Handler Certification Full Job Description The Lead Deli Attendant is responsible for scheduling, training and supervising staff. Additional duties include ensuring all quality standards are maintained while adhering to department policies and procedures, takes orders and accepts payments, stocks deli counter and keeps area clean and presentable at all times. Also prepares and serves deli items to casino patrons while providing superior guest service. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Position starts at $17.91/hr, increasing to $18.50/hr upon successful completion of 90 day orientation period.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
Minimum two years counter service experience with previous food handling experience Supervisory experience (preferred) Must be able to monitor the quality of products and services provided by the deli staff while ensuring compliance with departmental standards and requirements Cash handling experience including credit card transactions Must have a valid Washington State food handler's card
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours The ability to lift up to 40 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
