Full Job Description Description:
KRC Machine Tool Solutions is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to be permanently assigned to one of our customer's sites in Washington. Unlike a traveling field service role, this position is site-based — you'll become a familiar, trusted presence for the same customer team every day, with no regional travel required. Because this technician works embedded in the customer's facility, the right person brings more than technical skill: strong communication, thorough documentation habits, and genuine comfort interacting with customer personnel throughout the day are essential to success in this role.
Requirements:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC and machine tool equipment per manufacturer and site-specific PM schedules. Inspect, adjust, lubricate, and calibrate machinery to prevent unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues as they arise. Maintain accurate, detailed records of all PM activity, inspections, parts used, and work performed in the site's maintenance tracking system. Communicate proactively with customer personnel — operators, supervisors, and site management — about equipment status, scheduled work, and any concerns. Serve as the on-site point of contact for KRC, representing the company professionally in daily interactions with the customer team. Track parts usage and inventory, and coordinate with KRC's parts and service teams to keep the site properly stocked. Follow all site-specific and OSHA safety protocols. Recommend process or equipment improvements based on on-site observations and trends.
