POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Tasting Room Manager supports the daily leadership and operation of Evergreen Family Wines' Prosser tasting room, kitchen, and order fulfillment functions. This position serves as a hands-on leader who provides direction, coaching, and support to Brand Ambassadors while creating exceptional guest experiences and helping the team meet or exceed sales, wine club, and service goals. The position is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting room; supporting menu development and food preparation; and ensuring wine club, online, and other shipping orders are packed, processed, documented, and followed through to completion in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing hospitality, sales leadership, kitchen responsibilities, administrative work, and physical fulfillment duties in a fast-paced environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of customer service, hospitality, retail sales, food service, or related experience. One or more years of experience providing team leadership, shift supervision, training, fulfillment coordination, or comparable responsibility preferred. Professional cooking or food preparation experience, or extensive personal experience preparing food and working confidently in a kitchen. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales, service, and wine club goals. Strong commitment to hospitality and creating positive guest experiences. Ability to prepare food safely, consistently, and efficiently. Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance guest service, employee leadership, kitchen work, order fulfillment, and administrative responsibilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing orders, handling inventory, packing shipments, and maintaining records. Ability to respond professionally to customer questions, complaints, shipping issues, and service concerns. Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, email, spreadsheets, order management systems, inventory tools, and shipping software. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the Tasting Room Manager and other winery leadership. Reliable attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, events, wine club releases, and peak business periods. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements when operating a company or personal vehicle for business purposes. Experience developing menus, preparing food for groups, or scaling recipes for anticipated business volume. Experience with alcohol shipping, order fulfillment, inventory control, and packing. Working knowledge of wine, food-and-wine pairing, and Washington wine regions. Experience training and coaching sales or hospitality employees. Don't meet every qualification? Pay:

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
