Golf Food & Beverage Supervisor (Seasonal) Restaurant & Bar Operations

Description Join our team as a Golf Food & Beverage Supervisor and lead daily operations at our golf course bar and grill. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee food and beverage service, support staff performance, and ensure a high-quality guest experience. This position is ideal for individuals with hospitality or restaurant leadership experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, outdoor golf course environment.

Golf Operations / Food & Beverage What You'll Do Lead daily food and beverage operations at the golf course bar, grill, and service areas Deliver excellent guest service by ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service Supervise and support team members, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll oversight Maintain proper staffing levels and step in to cover shifts as needed Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking food and beverage products Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Set up and break down outdoor bar and grill operations daily Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, and daily sales accuracy Support hiring efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new team members Enforce opening and closing procedures and operational standards Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and emergency procedures Drive revenue growth through strong service execution and operational efficiency Requirements What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent required Previous food & beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality leadership experience preferred Prior POS system experience preferred Basic math skills for cash handling and reporting SERV Safe and TIPS certifications preferred (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Hands-on, dependable, and guest-focused mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40lbs regularly Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments Work Environment Fast-paced golf course setting with indoor and outdoor service areas Exposure to varying weather conditions, especially in outdoor bar/grill operations High guest interaction in a hospitality-driven environment Requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf season Active, hands-on role requiring constant movement and team engagement About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier hospitality destination known for exceptional service and a strong team culture.
