Job Description
Shift Lead Join our team as a Shift Lead at our automated kiosk location. The Shift Lead serves as a key leader on the front line, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the kiosk operates efficiently, accurately, and professionally. This position supports team members, manages daily shift operations, and acts as the primary point of contact between the kiosk and the main production facility. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Greet customers warmly and provide professional, efficient service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Answer customer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience. Process customer transactions accurately using the kiosk and Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Promote company services and identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and sales. Shift Leadership & Team Support Lead and support team members during assigned shifts. Provide direction, coaching, and assistance to employees to ensure company standards are consistently followed. Help train new team members on customer service, garment handling, POS procedures, and kiosk operations. Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies. Serve as the point person for shift-related questions, issues, and customer concerns. Order Intake & Processing Inspect garments carefully for stains, damages, missing buttons, or items left in pockets. Document customer preferences and special instructions accurately. Tag, sort, and enter garments into the POS system with a high level of accuracy. Ensure orders are properly organized and prepared for processing. Order Assembly & Pickup Organize completed garments and verify orders for accuracy before customer pickup. Rack finished garments onto the conveyor system in an organized and timely manner. Assist customers with order pickup and resolve discrepancies when necessary. Ensure customer orders are handled securely and efficiently. Kiosk Operations & Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kiosk environment throughout the shift. Ensure customer supplies and operational materials are stocked and readily available. Monitor kiosk equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues when needed. Report equipment problems, supply shortages, or maintenance concerns promptly. Complete opening and closing procedures accurately, as assigned. Communication & Coordination Communicate regularly with the main production facility regarding customer requests, special instructions, order issues, and potential delays. Escalate customer complaints or operational concerns when necessary. Maintain clear and accurate shift notes and communicate important information to incoming team members. Help ensure consistent communication between kiosk employees and the production facility. Accountability & Operations Ensure company procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations are followed. Monitor order accuracy and help minimize lost, damaged, or incorrectly processed garments. Assist with daily operational goals and ensure the kiosk is running efficiently. Take ownership of shift responsibilities and address issues proactively.
