•Food Services to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food operations, lead a dedicated team of food service professionals, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Your leadership will drive excellence in food preparation, service quality, sanitation standards, and team management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about culinary arts, hospitality management, and delivering top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. This Supervisor position directly supervises food service workers, assistant cooks, cooks in a kitchen environment (union and classified). This position is responsible for hiring, scheduling, evaluating, training and formal discipline recommendations. In addition, this position is responsible for all activity within the department with emphasis on patient service, but including supervision of tray line, cafeteria service and stocking of patient floors with all food service staff on duty. Supervisor may also be responsible for food safety compliance, inventory and managing floor stock in patient care kitchens, refrigerators. This position will also have the responsibility of supervising the entire department on weekends and holidays. The supervisor is responsible for researching, testing and developing new recipes/new menus in conjunction with the cooks. They oversee food production meets budgetary requirements as well as meets health, sanitation and quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise and manage food service teams, including scheduling, training, and performance coaching to foster a motivated and efficient workforce Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure high-quality dishes are delivered consistently and efficiently Maintain strict adherence to sanitation procedures, food safety regulations, and health standards to guarantee a safe dining environment Manage daily operations of the food service area, including shift management, inventory control, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food handling, cooking techniques, and presentation standards that meet organizational benchmarks Monitor customer service delivery to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Implement cost control measures and manage financial operations related to food procurement, waste reduction, and budget adherence Requirements Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with strong leadership skills in managing hospitality teams Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, kitchen management, and sanitation procedures Familiarity with POS systems, food safety protocols, and restaurant operational standards Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during shift changes and peak hours Previous experience in culinary arts or the food industry is highly preferred; culinary or hospitality management certifications are a plus Excellent communication skills with a focus on team development and guest engagement

Experience:

2-5 years Food service experience 1

•3 years Supervisor or lead role experience

Preferred :
