QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical aptitude. Able to stand for a long period of time. Good attendance and reliable transportation and contact number a must. Able to lift 50 lbs.SKILLS REQUIRED
Able to follow a recipe or standard operating procedure for blending ingredients. Strong math skills. Basic computer skills. Able to drive forklift and maintain licensePRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To follow specific blending instructions and sanitation procedures as required in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner to produce a quality product.RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Follow blending instructions. 2. Run basic analytical tests to insure proper ingredient requirements. 3. Communicate problems to production manager in a timely fashion to reduce waste. 4. Double-check the lot number and weight on the ingredient label to the blend sheet to insure accuracy. 5. Work closely with quality control personnel to insure all testing results are correct and if incorrect, react quickly to meet specifications. 6. Observe and report any major equipment problems needs to your supervisor. 7. Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO9001 procedures. 8. Comply with all Century Foods and customer operating procedures. 9. Must be able to work productively without direct supervision. 10. Maintain positive working relationships with supervisor and co-workers. 11. Know the production equipment setups, changeovers, and ability to trouble shoot problems. 12. Keeping Mix Tank area clean. 13. Basic knowledge of the C.I.P. system. 14. Provide break relief for co-workers on the production side. 15. Be able to wear food service approved gloves for a long periods of time. 16. Work with production lead or shift supervisor for a smooth shift change in case of an employee is late or illness. 17. Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management. Special Conditions Working conditions may include working in warm temperature areas at times Shift Hours- Sunday
