This position serves as a leader, coach, and role model for the dietary team while maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support dietary staff during daily operations Ensure meals are prepared and served according to established standards Maintain food quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction Assist with scheduling and staffing needs Monitor kitchen cleanliness and sanitation practices Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies Assist with inventory management and ordering as needed Address resident and family dining concerns professionally and promptly Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and excellent customer service What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Previous dietary, food service, or restaurant experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory experience Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices The Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Leads with a positive attitude Enjoys mentoring and supporting others Takes pride in providing excellent service Is organized, dependable, and solution-focused Understands the importance of creating a welcoming dining experience Believes great food and great service can brighten someone's day More Than a Job Every meal served is an opportunity to create comfort, connection, and joy for our residents.
