Job Description
Arctic Igloo Resort is looking for an organized and dependable Reservations & Tour Operations Coordinator to join our team for the upcoming winter season. This position is responsible for assisting guests with resort reservations and coordinating daily winter tour operations. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls and respond to guest emails Assist guests with reservations and general inquiries Create, modify, and cancel reservations Provide information about accommodations, transportation, activities, and policies Monitor and manage online tour bookings Verify guest information, pickup locations, and special requests Prepare daily passenger lists and driver manifests Coordinate tour schedules, vehicles, and driver-guides Send pickup times and tour information to guests Communicate with drivers, guides, and resort staff Handle booking changes, cancellations, and guest concerns Maintain accurate reservation and operational records Schedule & Availability This is a full-time seasonal position averaging approximately 40 hours per week. Our busiest periods occur during holidays. Candidates must be available to work weekends and major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Holiday availability is an essential requirement of this position, and time-off requests during peak holiday periods may be limited. The schedule may include daytime and evening shifts. Occasional after-hours availability is required to address urgent guest, reservation, or tour-operation matters. All required working time and applicable overtime will be recorded and compensated. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks Comfortable answering phone calls and communicating with guests Basic computer skills, including email and Google Sheets Experience in hospitality, tourism, reservations, dispatch, or customer service is preferred Able to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure while managing multiple priorities, last-minute changes, and time-sensitive operational issues Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Compensation & Benefits Complimentary employee housing with a private bedroom $2,000 end-of-season bonus upon successful completion of the full contract through March 31, 2027 Employee discount at the resort Training provided To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction.
