About the Role As a Travel Advisor, you will work directly with clients to plan and book both business and leisure travel , from simple hotel stays and flights to complex international vacations, cruises, tours, and resort experiences. You will have access to our network of preferred travel suppliers, industry partners, and booking tools to help you provide clients with exceptional travel options and value. The ideal candidate is someone who is confident working independently, enjoys sales and customer service, pays close attention to detail, and stays calm when travel plans change unexpectedly. What You'll Do Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and expectation. Research and recommend destinations, hotels, resorts, cruises, tours etc. Plan and book domestic and international travel, including: Airfare Hotels and resorts Cruises Tours and escorted vacations Car rentals Travel insurance Transfers and sight seeing tours Create detailed itineraries and provide clients with accurate travel documentation. Manage reservations, changes, cancellations, payments, and other booking details. Monitor travel arrangements and proactively assist clients when problems or disruptions occur. Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each trip. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat and referral business. Maintain accurate client profiles, invoices, reservations, and financial records. Keep client files and CRM/reservation systems up to date. Network and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, and other travel suppliers. Attend supplier presentations, travel seminars, educational programs, and industry events to stay current on destinations, products, and travel trends. Track sales and other statistical information as required. Stay informed about domestic and international travel requirements, destinations, and industry developments. What We're Looking For Required Valid U.S. Passport Previous personal travel experience, including international travel preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable using computers and learning new technology Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to research, compare, and recommend travel options Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when unexpected travel problems arise Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work full-time in our office Preferred Previous experience as a travel advisor, reservation agent, or in the travel/hospitality industry Experience with a GDS, CRM, or travel reservation system Knowledge of cruise lines, tour operators, resorts, hotels, and destination travel Experience selling or planning international travel Existing knowledge of preferred travel suppliers and industry resources Experience with client relationship management, sales, or account management The Person Who Will Succeed Here We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about travel, enjoys learning about new destinations, and
