Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused International Cruise Travel Agent for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Laguna Niguel, CA. This role is ideal for a travel, cruise, hospitality, customer service, or sales professional who enjoys helping clients create memorable international cruise vacations while building long-term customer relationships. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule, base salary plus sales-based bonuses, and the chance to earn additional income through strong sales performance. The role also offers international travel opportunities and a path to grow within the company for candidates who are driven, dependable, and passionate about travel. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with planning and booking international cruise vacations based on destination preferences, travel needs, timelines, and budgets.
- Recommend cruise lines, itineraries, cabins, packages, excursions, travel options, and upgrades to create a customized travel experience.
- Manage reservations, payments, changes, cancellations, travel documentation, and client communications throughout the booking process.
- Provide excellent service by following up with clients before, during, and after travel to support a smooth and positive experience.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business, referrals, and additional sales.
- Stay current on cruise destinations, promotions, international travel requirements, cruise industry trends, and supplier offerings. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

- Plan and book international cruise vacations for clients.
- Manage cruise reservations, payments, changes, cancellations, and travel documentation.
- Recommend cruise packages, excursions, destinations, cabins, and travel options based on customer needs.
- Build customer relationships and support sales goals through excellent service and follow-up.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in travel, cruise sales, hospitality, customer service, or sales.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist customers by phone, email, and online.
- Excellent customer service skills and a relationship-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and client details at once.
- High attention to detail when handling reservations, payments, documentation, and travel requirements.
- Ability to work independently while meeting sales, service, and follow-up expectations.
- Comfortable recommending and selling travel options, upgrades, packages, and related services.
- Passion for travel and an interest in cruise destinations, international itineraries, and the travel industry. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cruise travel sales experience.
- Experience booking international cruise itineraries.
- Familiarity with cruise lines, cabin categories, excursions, travel packages, and cruise promotions.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals, generate repeat business, and develop long-term client relationships.
