Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented DTS Coordinator to join our USMC Team in Quantico, VA. Responsibiliti es include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and prepare all aspects of travel and reimbursements for military and government civilian personnel for CONUS and OCONUS travel using DTS. Remain current with Defense Travel regulations (Joint Travel Regulations) and assist Civilian and Military personnel with travel logistics. Keep accurate records with real time status of travel logistics, including inbound, outbound, and personnel currently traveling. Assist travelers with coordinating travel, submitting reimbursements, travel security requirements, and navigating the approval process. Perform formal/classroom, ad hoc, over the shoulder, and remote training as needed to ensure travel logistics run smoothly. Brief leadership on the status of personnel on command travel to include, but not limited to, how many on travel, where they are, how many are departing, where they are going, and how many are returning.
Minimum Q ualifications:
At least 2 years of experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) for domestic and international travel. Demonstrated expertise of the DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Excellent communication skills. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualification:
Experience with the DoD's Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS). Experience with the Department of State's eCountry Clearance (eCC) systems. Experience as a Lead Defense Travel Administrator (LDTA). Ability to brief senior leadership.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current / active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
