IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
Excellent swimming skills are mandatory. Attendance is mandatory for all four days. No make-up classes will be offered. Successful completion of Guide School is followed by a guide check-off process, where participants demonstrate the skills required to safely guide commercial rafting trips. We are hiring for our fall operating season. Guides must be available to work weekends, with additional weekday shifts available, based on operational needs. Training & Guide School The Track:
Pre-Skill Assessment → Official Guide School → Certification! What's Included when you pass the Pre skill: Multi-day Raft Guide Certification covering advanced swimming, white-water maneuvering, and rescue protocols.
Timeline:
This round of training begins August 22nd.
Note:
Experienced guides may be exempt from standard training. You must be available to complete all guide school . What You'll Do Lead the
Crew:
Safely guide groups of 6-7 guests through our whitewater channels. Bring the

Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to a T.
Connect:
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, fellow guides, and management.
What We're Looking For Age:
18+ years old (17-year-olds and graduating high school seniors will be considered).
Fitness:
Strong swimming ability and a good level of physical fitness. (Firefighters, college an thletes, and first responders usually crush this part!)
Personality:
You are comfortable speaking to groups, love working with people, and are naturally punctual and customer service focused.
Composure:
Able to stay calm, focused, and professional in fast paced, high adrenaline environments.
