The Lavender Farm at Chateau de Vie is looking for an energetic and engaging Tour Guide to lead guests through our historic estate and lavender fields — delivering an experience that is informative, entertaining, and genuinely memorable. This is a multi-function role that goes beyond the tour: you will also work in our farm shop, support events, and help produce the handcrafted products we sell. Duties Tour Guide Lead 45-minute estate tours through the historic Chateau and lavender fields, sharing the property's history, architecture, and lavender farm mission with warmth, storytelling, and genuine enthusiasm Adapt each tour to the group in front of you — reading the room and adjusting your pacing, tone, and stories to keep guests engaged throughout Naturally introduce guests to the shop, products, and upcoming events during the tour Start and end every tour on time and manage group flow and guest safety throughout Sales Associate Welcome and assist guests in the Lavender Farm Shop — help them find products, answer questions, and deliver a great retail experience Process purchases accurately at the register and keep displays full and visually appealing throughout the day Assist with weekly restocking from the warehouse and complete shop closing duties Event Support Staff Support events from setup through breakdown, including food handling and table service at select events Attend the pre-event briefing for every assigned event and arrive prepared Take direction from the Events Coordinator and adapt quickly as the event unfolds Maintain a warm, professional, guest-focused presence from the first guest to the last Production Assistant Work in our production workshop making handcrafted products — following recipes precisely for measuring, mixing, bottling, and packaging Submit work for quality review at each production stage Log completed products accurately into inventory

Qualifications Required:

Ability to engage and lead groups Warm and genuine with all kinds of people and all ages Takes initiative, follows direction well and can work independently Adaptable and composed when things shift Detail-oriented, especially when following recipes and procedures Reliable and punctual Able to lift at least 20 pounds and comfortable moving boxes in the warehouse Food Handlers License — or willingness to complete upon hire

Preferred:

Experience in hospitality, tourism, education, guest services, or a public-facing role Background in public speaking, performance, storytelling, or group facilitation Experience in retail, customer service, food service, or production Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems Availability for evening and weekend events (Thursday-Saturday) Salary and Benefits Starting pay: $18.50 per hour Pay review conducted after first 3 months with opportunity for increase Part-time schedule — shop and tour hours Thursday-Saturday, 9am-2pm; events on select evenings and weekends Thursday through Saturday About Us The Lavender Farm at Chateau de Vie is a living estate in the heart of Chandler, Arizona — part lavender farm, part historic mansion, part gathering place.
