Painted Ladies Tour Company is hiring part-time Tour Guides to lead small-group experiences around San Francisco and Wine Country in our beautifully restored vintage Volkswagen buses. This is a great opportunity for semi-retired professionals, experienced professionals, or anyone looking for flexible, meaningful work that doesn't feel like a typical job. Who We're Looking For You don't need tour-guide experience—we'll train the right person. We're looking for people who are: Warm, engaging, and naturally good with people Professional, dependable, and punctual Confident speaking with small groups Curious about San Francisco's history, neighborhoods, and hidden gems Great storytellers and conversationalists Excited to meet visitors from around the world Maybe your background is in business, education, sales, hospitality, aviation, healthcare, entrepreneurship—or something completely different. We're more interested in your life experience and personality than your previous job title. Not a Bad Office Your workdays may take you across the Golden Gate Bridge, through historic San Francisco neighborhoods, to Sausalito, or even Napa and Sonoma. Our tours include city tours, private groups, Wine Country excursions, corporate events, celebrations, and special experiences. Compensation & Schedule Hourly wage + 100% of your tips. Our guides typically earn an additional $100-$300 per day in tips , depending on the tour and guest experience.
