Job Overview Tour Guide / Guest Experience Guide Country Boy Mine - Breckenridge, CO Country Boy Mine is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and safety-minded Tour Guide to join our team! This position is a highly interactive guest-facing role that includes leading underground mine tours, operating and guiding wagon rides, leading our treasure hunt experience, and helping with daily operations around the property. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, sharing Colorado history, working outdoors, and creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages. Our guides are expected to be cross-trained across all of our activities and be willing to jump in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly. Responsibilities Lead engaging and informative underground mine tours Lead and assist with treasure hunt activities Drive and guide wagon rides Provide excellent customer service and interact with guests throughout their visit Maintain a strong focus on guest safety and mine safety procedures Assist with daily opening and closing procedures Help maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready facilities Assist with general property and operational duties as needed Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and assigned duties Work cooperatively with other guides and management to keep daily operations running smoothly What We're Looking For Outgoing, friendly, and engaging personality Comfortable speaking to groups and interacting with guests Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow established procedures Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Comfortable working both underground and outdoors Willingness to learn and become cross-trained in all Country Boy Mine activities Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment Previous tour guide, hospitality, outdoor recreation, mining, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who can keep a group entertained, keep guests safe, and jump in wherever they're needed.
