1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a Labor & Delivery/Birthing Center role requiring a minimum of 5 years of OB and neonatal experience along with NRP Instructor certification. Details Work setting is a hospital Birthing Center Obstetrics and neonatal patient population Day shift schedule: 7:00am-7:00pm 13-week contract 36 hours per week Includes rotation in the nursing staff schedule Requirements Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or C-EFM certification required STABLE certification required NRP Instructor certification required Minimum of 5 years of Obstetrics and Neonatal nursing experience required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are helpful but not required Additional Information Provides interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager, ensuring continuity of operations during the assignment Implements and reinforces established policies, clinical protocols, and procedures Provides staff education, orientation support, and competency validation as needed Serves as a clinical and operational resource to staff and leadership Promotes compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Strong communication skills required for interaction with staff, physicians, administration, and the public Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities across a diverse team
