1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for a Labor & Delivery unit requiring 2+ years of supervisory and L&D experience. Details Labor & Delivery unit setting 3x12-hour day shifts Call required Uses Cerner EMR Requirements Active RN license in DC required (no pending licenses accepted) BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only) NRP certification required AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience required Prior US hospital experience in specialty area required Cerner EMR experience required Additional Information Provides shift-to-shift oversight of clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, and resource utilization Maintains a safe and effective care environment Delivers age-appropriate, competent, and compassionate patient care Leads and participates in departmental process improvement initiatives Facilitates employee engagement and shared governance activities Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
