Job Description

Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years of age and have a passion for sharing information about St. Augustine and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Tour Guide, you will lead groups through various locations, providing insights and engaging narratives that enhance the visitor experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring that all guests feel welcome and informed.

Ghostbusters Ghost Tours, and coming soon, Pinkmas Tours.
Requirements:
Must be able to sit for a long period of time, tours are in a golf cart and lasts for 45 minutes per tour, tours are consecutive every hour on the hour. Must have day time availability for Day tours(11am-6pm) or night availability for Night tours (6pm-12am) Must be able to bend consistently to clean all parts of the golf cart including filling tires, wiping rims, washing seats/windows etc. Must be charismatic, outgoing, and love to talk to people Responsibilities Lead guided golf cart tours through designated areas, providing informative commentary on historical, cultural, or natural aspects of the location. You will have a script of information that is accurate to refer to. Engage with guests to create an enjoyable and interactive experience, encouraging questions and participation. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during tours by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Manage tour schedules effectively to ensure timely departures and arrivals at each location. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the tour. Continuously educate yourself on relevant topics to enhance your knowledge base and improve the quality of tours offered. Skills Bilingual is not required but preferred. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engagingly in front of groups. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Effective time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in guests while guiding them through their experience.
