Job Description

Student Experience Leaders (SELs) represent the University of South Florida to prospective, and enrolled students and their families as well as providing support services to the USF International Student Support (ISS) team. Serving as a Student Experience Leader is an excellent opportunity to represent the University in a professional capacity, to develop excellent communication skills, and to share your enthusiasm for USF with prospective and newly admitted students as well as a mentor and resource to current students as they progress through their academic journey. Candidates will be provided with training to ensure success in the role of SEL. This position will focus on graphic design and projects that support the goals and mission of USF World as a whole and specifically International Student Support.
Duties and responsibilities may include:

USF Special Skills Necessary :
Excellent command of written and spoken English; Exceptional customer service and critical thinking in fast paced situations; Detail-oriented with strong project management skills; Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of linguistic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and understanding international students' needs; Proficiency in a second language other than English is not required, but helpful; Motivated, resourceful, coachable and a student who is excited to share the USF experience with others. Assist in designing, marketing and advertising all social media aspects, event marketing as well as our International Student Newsletter. Oversee and participate in ISS events and daily routes. Perform campus tours for enrolled students and assist them during welcome weeks. Contribute to events and activities for the larger USF World purpose Contribute to USF brand-awareness by representing USF in a professional manner.
