Job Description

Christophe's Fine Foods is a chef-driven prepared foods market and curated gourmet shop opening September 2026 in Lincoln Park. We're building the kind of neighborhood store that doesn't really exist anymore — restaurant-quality food made daily in-house, a carefully edited selection of wine, cheese, charcuterie, and pantry goods, and a level of hospitality you don't expect to find at a market. We're looking for Team Members to be on the floor, welcome guests with warmth and hospitality, and be excited to sell the products we have thoughtfully curated for the store! We value the human connection that goes hand in hand with great food and want to create that feeling in the store each day!
Job Specifics:
Guest checkout and POS — hands-on at the register whenever the floor needs it. Guest experience from the moment someone walks in, until the moment they leave. Merchandising — cheese case, wine, pantry, grab-and-go displays. Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and visual standards of the store. Operating Hours are
M,W-Sa:

Compensation:
$23/hr. What We're Looking For Genuine knowledge of and enthusiasm for food, wine and cheese and the curiosity to keep learning. Strong communication — with guests, with the team and with management. Organized and system-minded without losing the human side of hospitality. Experience with cheese, charcuterie, and a deli slicer preferred. Experience with POS systems. Flexible availability includes weekends and the time surrounding holidays. (We will be closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.) If you've been waiting for a place where your hospitality instincts and your enthusiasm for food and wine matter equally — this is it! Please send us your resume along with a cover letter or quick note to let us know why you would be interested in this role!
