JOB SUMMARY

The Master Facilitator is responsible for welcoming and energizing all participants in New Employee Orientation. This position ensures the overall program is executed seamlessly, while promoting a positive and exciting atmosphere. Outgoing personality, stage presence and a passion for hosting is essential for success in this position.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assume the primary host role for New Employee Orientation
• Welcome and network with participants in friendly and helpful fashion
• Serve as the primary event host
• Introduce speakers and segments in an engaging, seamless and positive manner
• Maintain audience engagement through interaction and thoughtful commentary
• Consistently possess a professional demeanor
• Make everyone feel welcome while creating a positive experience for all participants
• Receive and act upon improvement opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in Communications, Public Speaking or related field preferred Certification in Public Speaking preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

1 year of public speaking experience to groups of 100 attendees or more required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Outgoing, high energy and great sense of humor
• Self-directed
• Ability to follow a program outline
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
