Greet guests to make sure they feel welcome and enjoy their visit Conduct wine tastings in both individual and group settings Share information about Piccione Vineyards' estate-grown wines and educate guests about the wines' characteristics and history Complete Tasting Room closing procedures, reconcile daily sales, and post transactions Maintain physical inventory of merchandise items and restock wine in the Tasting Room as needed Ensure the tasting menu is accurate and up-to-date Demonstrate initiative and willingness to work events and special projects Other duties may be assigned as wellSkill & Experience Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to complete all required compliance training and certifications provided by Piccione Vineyards in order to serve wine Must be fluent in English, including strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional customer service skills First-hand knowledge, appreciation, and passion for wine and wine-related topics Tasting room sales experience preferred Interpersonal awareness, relationship management and influencing skills a must. Available to work some weekends, holidays, events and extended hours. Able to work as part of a team and maintain a positive demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 40 lbs. (cases of wine are heavy!) About theRole:
This role will report to the Tasting Room Manager of Piccione Vineyards. This role can be part- or full-time and eligible for performance bonuses and tips. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the guest experience at Piccione Vineyards, and we look forward to learning more about you and your interest in joining the team!Pay:
