POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Experience Guides with a passion for video games, live experiences and customer service to join our upcoming New Jersey experience. In this role, you are part of the operating team for the attraction, welcoming guests throughout the experience and delivering positive guest engagement. On site, you will work closely with the Experience Supervisors and Managers. You'll directly interact with guests, welcoming them as they arrive, support ticket sales and validation, building excitement for their timed entry and engaging with them throughout the experience to ensure they are able to maximize their visit.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome all guests throughout the experience areas, delivering guidance as needed through positive conversation
• Support the daily operations in guest engagement policies and work to deliver a continued hospitality mindset
• Assist guests in entry queuing based on timed ticket entry
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) stations for ticket sales at the door and scanning pre-sold tickets
• Assist with guest registration delivering their engagement device and guidance in operating it
• Engage with guests throughout their experience, supporting guidance in interaction areas and answering any questions
• Work with BOH (Back of House) teams to ensure and flag any technical issues in a seamless manner
• Monitor guest flow through the experience and share updates as needed to maintain guest flow
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and operations of the experience, reporting items as needed

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous guest engagement or sales experience
• Comfort with a guest engagement position that will require working irregular hours, weekends and holidays and the need to be on call to respond to time sensitive matters when the experience operation requires.
• Previous knowledge of POS (point of sale) systems.
• Confidence in verbally communicating with various audiences and groups
• Interest in and knowledge of video games and what makes for a fun and socially engaging game play experience.
• Positive time management skills, proactive team support and a positive attitude

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

This is a part-time/hourly position. Most staff will generally work between 20-28 hours per week. Weekend and/or evening availability, as well as holiday availability, may be required.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 14.0 - 28.0 per week
