Job Description
Job Overview Tour Guide will be responsible for preparing for upcoming tours, checking the weather conditions and greeting guests upon arrival. Tour Guide will ensure all guests have been properly fit with USCG approved life preservers as well as necessary amenities and has properly completed liability waivers prior to participation in scheduled activity. Tour guide will be responsible for providing on-site safety lecture to all participants and will be expected to assist guests when entering and exiting the boats prior to and post activity. Tour Guides will take guests along a designated tour route while providing historical facts, environmental information and other fun facts about Lake Tahoe. Tour guide will be responsible for ensuring guests are having the safest and most enjoyable experience and will be expected to entertain participants during the activity. Work Environment Tour Guides will be scheduled to work on-site at one of our many operating locations. Tour guides will generally work in a team in preparing for upcoming activities however, may be required to work alone from time to time. Tour guides will be required to facilitate tours and occasional on-site activities without supervision. Schedule Part Time (2-3 days/week) Full Time (4-5 day/week)
