Seasonal Tour Guide Pay:

$14.00 per hour We're looking for enthusiastic and dependable Tour Guides to join our team at The House from A Christmas Story! In this role, you'll help create a fun and memorable experience for guests by leading tours, assisting in the Gift Shop, and helping keep our property in top shape. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Greet and assist guests with a positive, friendly attitude Lead guided tours for groups of up to 40 guests On self-guided tour days, be available to answer guest questions, offer info, and take photos Ring out purchases using the Square POS system (iPad-based) Scan tickets using an iPhone Stock and organize the Gift Shop Perform end-of-day cleaning (mopping, sweeping, dusting, restrooms, etc.) Support general operations as needed

Outdoor Duties:

Take out trash Shovel snow and salt walkways as needed Leaf cleanup, as applicable Watering, as applicable

Requirements:

Must love talking to people and providing great customer service Comfortable speaking and performing in front of groups Comfortable learning new systems and procedures Able to stand, stoop, and move for 6-8 hours per shift Able to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation required High school diploma or equivalent required

Training:

Two weeks of paid training required

Schedule:

Must be able to work weekends and holiday weekends Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day Open 10am-3pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Extended hours in November & December — business hours range from 10am-5pm, 10am-7pm, and 10am-9pm (10am-9pm on Fridays & Saturdays) Shifts vary and may include times such as 9:30am-5:30pm, 11:00am-7:00pm, or 1:30pm-9:30pm 16-32 hours per week depending on scheduling needs, with more hours available in
