Hood River SUP and Kayak is hiring full-time and part-time kayak guides for the 2026 season. We are looking for full-time and part-time guides. We offer 2- 3 kayak tours per day with a 1:7 guide to guest ratio.

Guides are responsible for:

basic paddle instruction, sharing and interpreting natural river environment with guests, managing group dynamics, providing water safety, driving and rescue support. If an applicant has interest in teaching kayak, SUP, or wing lessons, there is opportunity to create a hybrid teaching and guiding position. Previous watersports or guiding/instructing experience is preferred but not required. Pay is dependent on experience and combination of roles/responsibilities within the organization. This job is for now until October 20th.
