About Rides N Motion Rides N Motion is a locally owned electric bike shop specializing in e-bike sales, rentals, service, and guided outdoor experiences. Our Scottsdale location is directly on the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt, giving our customers immediate access to one of the best riding areas in Scottsdale. As we continue to grow, we are expanding the experience side of our business. In addition to our e-bike rentals and guided rides, we are looking to introduce guided hiking experiences and light golf cart tours designed primarily for guests visiting Scottsdale, including hotel guests, vacationers, corporate groups, and visitors coming to Arizona for Spring Training. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and mechanically inclined person who enjoys working with people, being outdoors, and showing visitors what Scottsdale has to offer. Position Overview This is a hybrid position combining bike shop sales, basic service and maintenance, rental operations, and guided tours. Depending on the day, you may be helping a customer choose an electric bike, preparing rental bikes, performing basic maintenance, keeping the showroom organized, or leading visitors on a guided ride through Scottsdale. As our tour business expands, the right person may also help us develop and lead guided hiking experiences and light golf cart tours for guests staying at Scottsdale area hotels and visitors traveling to Arizona for Spring Training and other seasonal events. Responsibilities Assist customers with electric bike sales and product questions Help customers select the right bike based on their needs and riding style Prepare, check out, and check in rental bikes Explain safe e-bike operation to rental customers Lead guided e-bike tours and group rides through Scottsdale Assist with the development of guided hiking experiences Potentially lead light golf cart sightseeing tours Work with hotel guests, tourists, Spring Training visitors, and corporate groups Create fun, informative, and memorable experiences for Scottsdale visitors Perform basic bicycle maintenance, adjustments, and repairs Assist with new bike assembly and preparation Keep bikes clean, charged, organized, and ready to ride Maintain a clean and professional showroom and service area Help receive and organize inventory and accessories Assist with day-to-day shop operations as needed What We're Looking For Previous bicycle shop experience is preferred, but we will consider someone with strong mechanical ability, sales experience, hospitality experience, and a willingness to learn. Experience as a tour guide or knowledge of Scottsdale, local hiking trails, resorts, attractions, history, Spring Training, and outdoor recreation would be a major plus.

You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the newest electric bikes on the market, meet visitors from around the country, earn additional income through sales commissions and tour tips, and spend part of your workday outdoors. We are also building the next phase of our Scottsdale tourism business. Our goal is to create additional experiences for guests staying at local hotels and resorts, as well as the thousands of visitors who come to the Valley for Spring Training and other major events.
