Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Tour Guides to join our team. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging tours to visitors, showcasing the unique features and history of our live eco-system cavern. If you have a passion for storytelling, enjoy working with people, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you. Our guides receive on the job training and become certified to be the best around.Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided tours of our Live Cave system. We offer 3 different Tours, 1 walking tour and 2 wild cave expeditions. Our locations also has a gift shop and Gem Panning for our guests.
- Educate guests on the history, geology, the animals that call our cave home & the beautiful formations that are ever changing.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the duration of the tour
- Answer questions and provide assistance to guests during the tour
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
- Adhere to tour schedules and manage time effectively
- Utilize public speaking skills to captivate and engage tour participants
- Communicate effectively with individuals or groups of varying sizes and backgrounds
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall visitor experience
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of tours
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with visitors of all ages and backgrounds
