The Original Prohibition-Inspired Cocktail Crawl , our high-energy cocktail adventure through historic downtown Nashville.

Our plan is simple:

GREAT PAY:

$40-$110+ per hour in total earnings Let's be transparent about the numbers: Guaranteed base pay is $72 per standard 2¼-hour tour — $32/hour before a single tip or performance bonus. Typical total earnings are approximately $120-$250 per tour , including base pay, tips and achievable bonuses for GREAT guest reviews. Exceptional tours can earn even more.

WHAT WE'RE REALLY LOOKING FOR

You do NOT need to be an experienced tour guide. We can teach you the route, give you terrific stories to tell, and teach you the mechanics of leading a tour. What we're really looking for is much harder to teach:

PRESENCE.

Can you walk into a lively room, capture people's attention, tell them something fascinating, get a laugh, make strangers feel welcome — and confidently lead everybody toward the next adventure? That's the gig. Actors. Improvisers. Comics. Musicians. Emcees. Bartenders. Servers. Event hosts. Hospitality professionals. Experienced guides. Charismatic History Nerds! If you can present with a big personality — if you can light up a room and take it over when needed , we want to meet you.

If you're the person who falls down historical rabbit holes for fun, take a serious look at us. Adjunct professors and instructors in History, Humanities, Theater, Communications or related fields are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching a room full of students how to care about something that happened 100 years ago? We consider that highly relevant experience. The sweet spot is someone who genuinely loves people, loves Nashville, loves weird history — and knows how to bring things to life.

THE GIG:

You'll lead groups of up to 16 "Gatsby Insiders" on a roughly 2¼-hour Prohibition-inspired Cocktail Crawl through downtown Nashville. You'll entertain guests with remarkable true stories, confidently lead the group between cocktail destinations, work professionally with our partner venues, and keep the whole adventure fun, welcoming and on schedule. Part host. Part historic storyteller. Part party ringmaster.

FLEXIBLE PART-TIME WORK

This is flexible, part-time independent-contractor work. We understand that actors get auditions. Musicians get gigs. Professors have classes. Hospitality professionals have changing schedules. Your other professional commitments matter. We offer afternoon, happy-hour and evening opportunities throughout the week, with particularly strong opportunities on weekends.

We're looking for people who are: Magnetic, outgoing and genuinely interested in other people Excellent communicators and public speakers Fascinated by Nashville, history and culture Comfortable commanding attention in a lively cocktail-bar environment Quick on their feet Dependable, punctual and professional 21+ and able to reliably work in downtown Nashville Experience is great. Personality matters more. Reliability is non-negotiable.

Outstanding hosts may also have opportunities to lead private events, luxury cocktail experiences and our other walking food tours.
