Thursday 9am-3pm & Friday-Sunday 11:30 am - 7:30 pm Overview KidZania is looking for you to join our team! What is KidZania? KidZania is a dynamic city built to inspire, educate, and empower kids, including toddlers to teens, through immersive learning experiences! We're looking to hire energetic, outgoing, friendly, and reliable Activities Team Members to join us on Weekends (Thursday-Sunday) to run activities within the park for children and guests. KidZania Activities Team Members, called "Zupervisors," guide children through immersive learning experiences where they role-play as Doctors, Firefighters, Musicians, News Anchors, and so much more! Interacting with children is the essence of what we do here at KidZania, and it is the most important part of the role! Activities Zupervisors must have patience and show care when working with kids. They also provide excitement and a memorable experience while ensuring that the activity meets KidZania and branded-partner standards. The magic is in the details! They ensure activities are engaging, safe, and aligned with KidZania's culture, while providing a bit of improv and problem-solving on the fly. All KidZania Zupervisors understand the importance of keeping their areas in the park clean and well maintained to continue providing a quality experience for all guests. In addition to learning various Activities within the park, Activities Zupervisors will also be required to train in at least one (1) of two (2) specialty areas within their first 30-90 days: Obstacle Course/Climbing Wall training requires using and wearing safety equipment, including harnesses and helmets. This role guides children on proper procedures on the course and/or the wall. This role may be required to take children down from the course. Physical balance and comfort with heights are additional physical requirements. On-site training is provided at both the Obstacle Course and Climbing Wall. Or; Park Vehicle Drivers must have a valid state Driver's License, and will receive on-site driver training. Speeds in the park do not exceed 1-2 mph. Concentration and attention to detail are critical, as these vehicles navigate the park during business hours, with guests walking on the streets, and vehicles can hold up to 10 children at a time. Or; Other Specialty Activity as determined by business needs. Additional tasks, or seasonal cross-training within the park, may be assigned as needed and at the Company's discretion. Fall Weekend Schedule The fall weekend schedule is Thursday through Sunday. Open availability is preferred, but candidates must have a minimum of one (1) weekday available, or a minimum of 3 shifts per weekend. Responsibilities & Requirements Must be comfortable working with children. Deliver warm and welcoming guest experiences with outstanding customer service. Create a fun, exciting atmosphere for children and families. Show positivity, teamwork, patience, flexibility, resilience, and care. Be punctual and reliable. Maintain all standards of cleanliness in the park. Communicate effectively with teammates, management, parents, children, and guests. Maintain professionalism and uphold KidZania's values in daily work. Must have basic math skills.Schedule Part-time weekends:
Thursday 9am-3pm, Friday-Sunday 11:30 am-7:30 pm. Thursday-Sunday (must have 1 weekday and/or weekend day available.) Option to pick up weekday hours Tuesday-Wednesday beginning in November, if desired. Hours may vary based on school schedules, holidays, and business needs. Regularly kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. Work in loud, crowded spaces with frequent interaction. Speak clearly and project voice throughout the day. Memorize and recite information consistently. May be required to be at heights of 15 ft to 25 ft, and in a harness, based on role.Eligibility Minimum age:
18 years. Background check required for employees 18+. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of the background check. Must have reliable transportation.
