Duties Lead guided tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring an engaging and educational experience for all participants Deliver lively narrative that highlights the history, ecology, and cultural significance of the area Manage tour group logistics, including safety briefings, and time management to keep tours on schedule Foster rapport with guests through friendly communication, answering questions, and tailoring narratives to audience interests Ensure guest safety by adhering to wilderness safety protocols and providing first aid or CPR when necessary Maintain a professional appearance and presentation skills while delivering clear, confident instructions and stories Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor work, or public speaking roles Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage tour groups effectively in outdoor settings Excellent communication skills paired with narrative techniques that captivate audiences Knowledge of wilderness safety practices; CPR certification is preferred or obtainable upon hire Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to manage time efficiently while delivering informative and entertaining narratives in outdoor environments Foreign language proficiency is a plus for engaging international guests Join us as a Tour Narrator and turn your passion for nature into inspiring adventures!
