Seasonal Summer Employee/UTV Tour Guide

Sand Hollow State Park - Hurricane, Utah Sand Hollow Rentals is the official concessionaire at Sand Hollow State Park, Utah's #1 most visited state park. We are the largest recreational equipment rental company in Utah and Idaho with 7 locations. $14.00/hour

Summer Earnings:

Typically, employees earn $8,000-$14,000 per summer. Potential bonus available at the end of the summer.

Schedule:

8:30 am to 8:00 pm daily. Holidays and weekends required; days off are usually weekdays.

Note:

Due to our seasonal status, all hours are paid at the normal pay rate, no overtime pay, though there is no limit to the amount of hours you can work.

Season:

May through Labor Day. We can work around school schedules in late August, but we ask all employees to return for Labor Day weekend. You will be part of a tight-knit team of 20-30 employees responsible for every aspect of the business. You will rent out equipment including ski boats, wakesurf boats, pontoons, Sea-Doos, paddleboards, kayaks, water trampolines, and UTVs. You'll be responsible for cleaning vehicles and will be expected to work in our small fast-food grill.

Key Duties:

Taking reservations and running the till. Checking equipment in/out and explaining rules and operation to customers. Launching/loading watercraft with tractors and fueling machines. Assisting with our fast-food operation. Closing and putting equipment away at the end of the day. Cleaning vehicles weekly. All employees share and rotate duties Training is on-site and paid. If you want to become a guide for our guided UTV tours at the sand dunes next door, or become a boat captain to take customers out on the boats, this is another aspect of the job we can take a look at.

Requirements:

Must be 18+, have a driver's license, complete a 2-hour First Aid/CPR class (we set up and pay for), and be capable of taking customers on a tour in a safe and fun manner. Requirements & Expectations Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation to/from work. Housing not provided We seek hard-working, honest, and dependable individuals who are committed to working the whole summer and can learn quickly on the job. This is a high-responsibility environment. If you want minimal work, this is not the job for you. Why Join Us?
