In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging tours for visitors of all ages, sharing the story of dairy farming, animal care, and sustainable practices. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will inspire curiosity and foster a deeper appreciation for farm life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to educate, entertain, and connect with diverse audiences while promoting our commitment to quality dairy production and environmental stewardship. Duties Lead informative and lively guided tours of the dairy farm, highlighting animal life, milking processes, and farm operations Engage visitors through storytelling, demonstrations, and interactive activities that enhance their understanding of dairy farming Answer questions from guests with clarity and enthusiasm, ensuring a memorable experience for all ages Maintain a safe environment by enforcing farm safety protocols during tours and activities Coordinate with farm staff to schedule tour groups and manage visitor flow efficiently Assist in educational programs or special events aimed at promoting awareness of sustainable farming practices Provide excellent customer service by addressing visitor needs promptly and professionally Qualifications Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present information clearly and engagingly Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide groups confidently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience in customer service or teaching roles is preferred to create positive visitor interactions Excellent time management skills to ensure tours start on schedule and activities run smoothly Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex topics in an accessible manner Passion for agriculture, animals, or environmental sustainability is a plus; previous farm or educational experience is advantageous Join us as a Dairy Farm Tour Guide and help us share the wonders of dairy farming with the world!
