Job Description

Dothan Country Club is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Servers to join our hospitality team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an elevated service environment and understands that exceptional hospitality. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience, demonstrating a high level of technical skill, and acting as an ambassador for the club.
Key Responsibilities Expert Table Management:
Guide members through their dining experience with a focus on timing, pace, and anticipatory service.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of our culinary offerings, including daily specials and ingredient profiles.
Beverage Excellence:
Confidently discuss wine pairings, craft cocktails, and spirits. (Experience with wine service or sommelier-curated lists is a significant plus).
Salesmanship:
Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience without being intrusive.
Operational Standards:
Maintain a pristine dining room and adhere to strict service mechanics, including proper clearing, crumbing, and glass handling.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the culinary team and management to ensure every plate meets our high standards before reaching the table.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale dining, private club, or high-volume hospitality environment.
Age Requirement:
Must be 21 years of age or older (required for handling and serving alcoholic beverages).
Mindset:
A passion for hospitality and a "member-first" attitude.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Professionalism:
A commitment to maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Availability:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the Club's event calendar. Sunday availability is required.
