Overview We are looking for a couple of part time servers to help us through our busy season. Position is part of a tip pool and the hourly rate is indicative of the wage inclusive of tips. We are open from 11-8 Tuesday to Saturday and 11-3 on Sundays. Hiring 21 and older due to Alcohol service. Responsibilities Taking customer orders and serving food and beverages Ensuring tables are set and properly prepared for guests Handling financial transactions and processing payments Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests Following health code standards when handling food May assist in the hiring and training of new waitstaff Performing shift preparation duties like rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables, and ensuring floors are clean Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
