Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring customers have a pleasant dining experience. Your ability to interact with customers, take accurate orders, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner will be key to your success in this position. (Please indicate your age when submitting your application as we do sell alcohol) Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system or similar technology. Ensure that all food handling and sanitation standards are met while serving food and beverages. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing excellent guest experiences. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
