A Waiter or Waitress takes orders and serves food and beverages to customers in restaurants. Answers customer questions about menu items, prepares checks and collects payment, and assists with clearing dishes and tables. May work in banquet or dining halls.

Greet and welcome guests promptly. Offer menu suggestions and answer questions with knowledgeable advice. Ensure responsible beverage service in compliance with liquor laws. Accurately take and serve food/drink orders, ensuring guest satisfaction. Attend to guests' needs, including bussing and resetting tables. Prepare non-mixed drinks, soups, and salads. Process payments and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining experience.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude.
Education & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience. Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
Hours:
Flexible, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Light work with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
