Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and provide correct change Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times in accordance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a clean and efficient dining area Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary restrictions with confidence and professionalism Support guest needs proactively through attentive service, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is advantageous Experience with fine dining service or cocktail preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail mixing techniques, and beverage service standards is highly desirable Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build guest rapport Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively environment!
