Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served promptly Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow effectively Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences Handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required for food handling roles Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude that fosters guest relations and collaboration Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm fuels memorable experiences!
