Situated on our stunning 3rd-floor rooftop, Loma combines rich tropical flavors, locally sourced ingredients, handcrafted drinks, and unforgettable rooftop views. As a Host / Support Team Member , you play a vital role in setting the tone for our entire guest experience. You are the warm, welcoming face of Loma at the front door and the versatile backbone of our floor operations. From managing reservations to keeping rooftop service flowing seamlessly, your adaptability and energy ensure every guest leaves with a memorable impression.

Key Responsibilities Guest Reception:

Warmly greet arriving guests, manage waitlists, and seat parties efficiently to maximize rooftop dining flow.

Communications & Orders:

Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, manage table reservations, and accurately take and process to-go orders.

Cross-Functional Floor Support:

When host stand duties are caught up or when working alongside fellow support team members, actively step in to: Run food and handcrafted cocktails to tables. Pre-bus and bus tables to ensure fast turnarounds for incoming guests. Assist in restocking service stations, glass racks, and the rooftop bar area.

Atmosphere & Operations:

Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway while supporting servers and bartenders during peak peak dining hours. Ensure the restaurant including bathrooms are stocked and tidy during shift Qualifications & Requirements Previous host, busser, or support experience in a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant preferred (willing to train candidates with the right attitude!). Warm, outgoing personality with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Strong multitasking ability—comfortable pivoting between host stand duties and floor support on a active rooftop floor. Professional phone etiquette and basic proficiency with reservation and POS systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Team-first mindset and physical stamina to stay active on your feet throughout a shift.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
