Busser/Foodrunners are responsible for positive interactions while assisting guests in a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable manner. Their main function is to facilitate and support the server and bar staff in providing efficient and professional service. At all times, Busser/Foodrunners are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Busser/Foodrunners are expected to be quick and self motivated to be a part of a team. Responsibilities Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the shift. Acts as a true team member and recognizes areas to be helpful and supportive to other staff and guests alike. Run food; executes non-alcoholic drink refills and other table service tasks as needed. Maintains clean and stocked stations. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guest's needs and assisting servers and bartenders as requested. Adheres to proper sidework duties, policies, and health department requirements. Food hander certification within the county of employment. Able to work on feet for long hours. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Filling in for absent staff as needed. Assisting with special events as needed. Greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. Makes efforts to improve overall menu knowledge. Quickly cleans and resets tables to spec. Acts as the restaurant cleanliness ambassador- keeps the facilities clean and free of unwanted debris- floors, tables, chairs, restrooms, etc..
