This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, showcasing their food and beverage knowledge, and thriving in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Prior bartending experience is a plus, as you'll have the chance to enhance your skills in beverage service and cocktail preparation. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating memorable dining moments for our guests. Duties Provide attentive and friendly service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or SpotOn POS Serve food and drinks efficiently, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing sales transactions seamlessly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and guest seating efficiently Engage with guests to promote specials, wine pairings, and beverage options based on their preferences Ensure proper food safety practices during food preparation and serving Experience Proven experience as a server in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining exposure Previous bartending experience including cocktail mixing and spirits knowledge is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or SpotOn POS for order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally Knowledge of wine varieties, beverage service techniques, and drink presentation standards Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food handling, sanitation protocols, and food safety regulations Background in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable Basic math skills for processing bills, cash handling, and sales transactions accurately Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively Italian restaurant environment!
