Duties Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations through upselling techniques. Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing sales accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing duties as needed. Manage guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Support the team during busy hours by assisting with food running, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within restaurants or nightlife venues is highly preferred. Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential. Proven ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while maintaining excellent guest relations.
