Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar team Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and premium spirits to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and food selections based on guest preferences Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned to ensure smooth restaurant operations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Food industry experience including food safety practices and sanitation standards Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities simultaneously Prior experience in serving or host/hostess roles preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join our team where your passion for hospitality will shine!
